According to research made by scientists, the year 2012 is the most dreaded year because as predicted by experts and clairvoyants, the end of the world will take place on December 21, 2012.

Some say the end will be due to human acts of destructions and some say it will be brought about by natural disasters and calamities.

Great importance is being given by people to what the ancient Rosicrucian says about the future. It seems to be alarming because of the predictions they have. This can also affect how you would consider Nostradamus’ 2012 end time prediction of the future.

“Our planet thus enters into its next evolutionary phase, securing itself a place as a new member of the galactic community.”

Why did the Maya consider this date to be so especially unusual that they regarded it as the completion of their calendar cycle ?

It is not the calendar date that is of importance here, but the astronomical event that takes place at that time – namely the particular position of our solar system in relation to the Milky Way.

Why should the so-called “end date” of the Mayan calendar – at the time of the winter solstice on 21./22. December, 2012 – be of particular importance?
