With the recent block buster movie 2012 and the hype and debates that surround this, I have become all too aware of the amount of people that are at a crossroads in their life.
It can be quite a disruptive cycle when you lose your job and find yourself in a situation where you are not earning, unable to pay the mortgage or the bills as well as having mouths to feed.
Perhaps you are now suffering with an ongoing ailment you find yourself within a destructive pattern. Whatever the pattern or reason, you are unable to move forward.
Often it is fear that holds us back from entering the void. The Void, is the unknown.

However everyday of our lives when we wake up, we enter that void. We may have plans or ideas of where we are going , but in actual fact we put the trust into the day in the hope that it will manifest. But we dont know if it actually will. Anything could happen from one day to the next. Subconsciously we do enter the void. Additionally when we go to sleep. We enter a void of dreamstate. It is an unknown and expansive territory.

Whatever your current hurdle or problem, it is being shown to you trying to inform you that something has to change within your current life cycle. If for example you are suffering on going back pain then address your posture, do some exercise or visit a person who can assist with a complementary suppor for your trouble. Remember that complementary practitioners are not an alternative, they instead work alongside and help in treating the whole person . Additionally backpain can be seen as a sign that something in your personal life has to change. The back is part of your foundation, your support system. Therefore it maybe happening to ask you to look at you current support system within your family or relationship. Do you feel supported in your current situation. Do you feel you have a good foundation and support network? Often lower back pain comes in when The mother or the Anchor of the family has passed. Do you feel orphaned?
Do you feel your current relationship is not working? Do you feel trapped by circumstances?

These are all signs that could be causing your current back pain apart from a physical injury. Yet even so often we receive an injury in a place to help us learn something about ourselves.

It is a shame that so many people revert into the lost child when a trauma affects their life. I have seen so many people lately stuck at the cross roads of life unsure of where to go or indeed how to access it. Unfortunately circumstance has stolen their heart for the lack of self love and respect as well as the stealing their self esteem thus feeding the spiral of depression and hoplessness.

However because of your current situation you are being knudged to trust your intuition and wake up to smell the roses. Life is what you make it. There is always a solution. It might be that you need some assistance along the way, and if you do, take advantage of the kindness being shown towards you rather than sabotage it. Lack of self esteem creates a self doubt and self belief pattern that will control your life. However the signs that are being shown to you, could be there to teach you a lesson in remaining a victim in the spiral of hopelessness or it could assist you in making a life transforming desision that could create abundance and prosperity in all areas of your life.

The majority of students who come to us on the Reiki courses we run are nearly always at a cross roads in their life. First we show them their current thought patterns and teach them a new way of living in a positive and sustainable way. Simply accessed through meditation, taking timeout for the self and healing the self. There is an expression that when one door closes another will open offering another opprotunity. Having been witness to several hundred students, whom the majority have changed their life for the better after realizing that their former belief patterns were destructive, and are not only helping themselves, but are reaching out and touching other peoples life in a positive way.

The cross roads of life is a powerful metaphore for bringing in something positive. That in turn is what 2012 is about. It is not about the earthquakes and the destruction by mother earth to the planet, but more about the way we act and treat one another. Perhaps the only way to stop the unnessesary wars in Iraq and Afganistan or the hatred between the Jews and the Islamic people is to have a destruction that will affect everyone. Why? Because it is within these times that people pull together and realize that something has to change. 2012 is about teaching you, the general public that your current destructive patterns have to change. It teaches us to live in the moment.

Let me ask you one question.
If 2012 did mean the end of the world as we know it. If it meant that you only had two years to live. What would you do?
Would you sit at home crying and feeling sorry for yourself being the victim. Would you just give up, drink and smoke yourself to death OR
Would you expand your consciousness and strive to achieve as much as possible in a short time period. Would you help those less fortunate than yourself?
Would you travel and visit all that you have wished for?

This is what your current life change represents. Its time to change your consciousness into something powerful and positive.

To make the workshop exciting and enjoyable I also incorporate other therapies that work very well with Reiki. Laughter therapy is enjoyable with many adults, but especially children. Laughter is also incredibly powerful as it raises the bodies natural healing defenses. It also releases stress and creates bonding with other children.
Dance therapy is also incorporated into the course to encourage confidence and liberation of the spirit. Here we discover the inner born leader who is crying to escape and prove themselves.

Have you heard the expression, that there is no such thing as co-incidence? Perhaps you have entered into discussion with your friends or family and debated the issue.
I believe that everything happens for a reason. You are meant to meet and experience all that happens in divine timing.
There are many people who question what happens and why. But if we learn to adjust to what has happened and learn to accept then our lives become a little easier to understand.

The calling to the spiritual path is no exception to the rule and is often a major player in assisting you to change your life around for the better. However often there are major hurdles to jump before the path is walked. So many people wish to embark upon the journey of spiritual development or link with higher realms, feeling that their lives will improve considerably. However it is always a balance. The spiritual development also assists you to live your life here on earth. I feel too many people wish to escape from the trappings of earthly life, and connect to what is on a higher frequency. Yet the higher frequency assists your earthly incarnation.

Spiritual development and awareness is not easy. Life as a medium, clairvoyant or healer, is not the easiest of paths.
Life throws many experiences upon our paths, yet it is important to learn the lessons so that we as a whole are able to help one and other.
Life is a learning curve, an experience. Often those who have endured many horrific or hard lessons in life and lived through them are there to inspire as well as encourage those of us who wish to help ourselves and others..

If you read any books by famous mediums or healers you will often hear about their past being hard. Often they may have had to overcome illness or severe struggles before they get to where they are.
Why?
So they are able to empathize with the people they are trying to help.

There are many great teachers out there in the world, who are currently experiencing hardships and asking themselves "why me?"
You are hear to help others but first you are to learn the important lesson of healing yourself. Too many people forget about themselves when living their life. Too many people live their unhappy lives, yet find comfort in living through someone else rather than for themselves.
Too many people are people pleasers and can not bring themselves to help the self. Comfort knocks on their door when they are helping others. The danger with this , is that one day, sooner rather than later you will burn out. Giving too much energy for others as well as pushing the self too much can be destructive and lead to ill health.
I have met quite a few mediums who have developed and become great mediums. However with their new popularity and success, they become obsessed and begin to fall ill with the strain of trying to help everyone.

If you are considering developing as a medium I personally would suggest that you become a healer first and foremost. Not only does this teach you about channeling energy, but it also connects you with the clairsentience, "clear feeling", enabling you to begin to "trust" what you are receiving. Healing also teaches you to help and heal yourself. Now it could be "coincidence" that you have heard the same words before, if so then that is something you have to acknowledge within yourself. Dont run, before you can walk. Healing, especially "Reiki" opens you up to connect with higher frequencies as well as lifting your own current vibration to a higher level.
Reiki also teaches you to meditate, to visualize as well as, I feel, being a great foundation for your spiritual path and development.

If you read any books by mediums such as Betty Shine, Caroline Myss, Susan Pheonix, Gordon Smith, you will hear about their life as a Healer.
Never under estimate yourself by what you have experienced. I have seen some former Heroin addicts become great Yoga Teachers, Mediums, Spiritual Teachers and so forth. If its any comfort for you, those who have walked a harder path are, born teachers. If you ask yourself, "What could I possibly teach?" the answer is , you have been teaching without realizing it. Everyone that crosses your path, has learned something valuable from you. You may have inspired a person from either a positive "from your inner strength and determination to never give up" or from a negative point of view, by playing the victim of "why me" and getting everyone to feel sorry for you. This is a great teaching to many as it teaches them, not to follow the same path. So in many ways without realizing it you are assisting in improving a persons life.

Yet anyone who has experienced hardship and had a hard life, they are often born to "trust". That is often their soul lesson. Most people on this path have been the deciever as well as the victim to others lies. Circumstance has given them a tough option for not trusting their own unique sense of intuition. Low self esteem and behavioral patterns also prevent the lesson from being learned. But that is not an excuss. Not trusting is the lesson, yet you are probably aware od spirit energies or have a sixth sense yet for some reason scared of it." Why? " Because you dont trust it, and dont believe it.
This is however your life lesson to overcome and life will continue to throw harder lessons until you begin to realize that yes, you do have to trust.
Often it is the biggie hardship that draws you closer to the higher realms. You realize that something has to change.
Thats when the real soul journey begins, where you can re-connect to who you are as a person and start understanding why you have experinced what you have endured.

Once that realization comes into play, the connection to the spiritual aspect of your development knudges its way forward into your life.

The soul needs food. It may have felt that the life you were living was not sustaining its existance. Therefore something had to change.
Accidents never happen by chance, there is always a reason and something is always to be learned.
How many times have you seen a person trip in the street?
Have you seen them blame the pavement, or a broken tile or an obstruction on the path?
Or have you heard them say, "I must pay more attention to where I am going, I need to learn something positive from this so it does not happen again"
Lol , I have a feeling it is the first phrase that either you or others have said or done.

Reiki 2 Workshop 19/20 February at 10:00 Mijas Costa 2011

Reiki Two is the second degree level.
There are many ways in which Reiki is taught. This largely depends upon the Teacher and the Lineage that is followed.

I practise the Traditional Usui method as well as the Integrated Tibetan method.
Level two can only be taken after you have completed level one. You must have been attuned to level one for a minimum of three months. As you know, Reiki One is largely about Self Healing and meditation although you are also introduced to healing others.

Reiki two is about using the Sacred symbols of Reiki that were channelled by Mikao Usui in the late 1800s. These originally are to be kept sacred, although now you can find them on the internet and published within many books. In one way this goes against the Traditional teaching of Reiki.

Reaching Reiki two does not mean that you stop working upon yourself.
It means that you continue at a deeper level as well as healing others.

The Workshop

This workshop is taught over 2.5 days

Three days prior to the workshop you will receive the Symbols and the Mantras. You must be able to draw, the symbols as well as write and chant the mantras. These you must learn off by heart by the time you return for the workshop. The symbols and mantras must be destroyed so that no-one can view them. You will know them and retain them within.

.Throughout the Workshop you are taught to feel and connect to the energy of each symbol through meditation practices. Each symbol carries a different vibration and healing energy.
You will connect with the Power Symbol, Mental Emotional and the Distance Symbol.
You will connect with the Unconditional love of Reiki through the highest Power for your Personal self development.
Attunements and Empowerments

I also stress that they are not a game, but actually unlock a greater expansiveness of awareness and are able to fore tell the next steps on your path. Having read the Tarot for the last 15 years I still am surprised at the way in which they fall and how they can be read. The Tarot never lie. However the person interpreting the spread is the one who may see the Tarot in a different light to another.

Let me firstly explain how to choose a deck of Tarot Cards.

If we stay with the historical energy associated with the cards and suppose that they derive from Egypt, the Gypsies have with them the energy that teaches us much about our ancestral knowledge as well as our current life path. Additionally the doorways to our future have already been assigned to us, we just have to open the door. The gypsy or Tarot reader is able to access this , therefore having a pack of cards holds a responsibility.

If you are sure that you wish to own a pack of Tarot cards, you must then always receive a deck. Especially the first one. It is essential and part of historical energy associated with the cards that inheriting a pack is beneficial for your development. If you have no-one to pass a pack down to you (usually the gift of reading runs in families), then have someone buy you a pack of cards from a shop/internet. Now this can be attained on two different levels. Lets imagine you are in a shop with a friend. You see decks of tarot on a shelf, if a particular deck captures your eye, then ask your friend to buy it for you. Once it is bought, it can be given to you. If you are in touch with your intuition or healing power you may wish to scan the decks with your hand. Where you feel a connection, ask your friend to buy it, then receive it as a gift. Alternatively you can ask your friend to buy you a pack of Tarot cards and just be open to accepting the cards that have been chosen for you.

NB. At this time of development it is beneficial to not have in your possession for development the "Aliester Crowley Thoth deck". Aliester Crowley was an intelligent and powerful man. His energy rides through the waves of the Tarot deck. Although powerful he also walked the path of the darkness, an avenue not to explore when first learning the deck of the Tarot. I would recommend the Ryder Waite, or the Mythic to start with.

Reading the Tarot is a gift and one that once you have developed your gift you are able to access spiritual doorways that you had only read about. The tarot falls into the category of the "Occult arts", the "hidden arts of communication".

Now all Tarot decks carry with then a little book. Each card has two general meanings depending upon the position of the cards (upright or reversed) in which they are laid. It is also worth noting that they also mean something different depending on what cards they are next to. Therefore I recommend to our students that, although the book gives a guide line reference of meaning, it is, in fact beneficial to discard the book and connect with each card separately. Meditation with the Tarot is beneficial. By expanding your consciousness with each card you are able to understand more about who you are. I feel that many people are unaware of this energy, yet it is a manner in which I was taught, and additionally pass down to our students.

Looking at the symbols and imagery in each individual tarot card, further assisting an awareness of consciousness that exists within each card. The cards also need to be looked after in a very caring and delicate manner. Remember respect. Treat them almost as human beings. When you enter into meditation, you can see each card as a lesson, person or experience. Live through the power of the cards. It is then beneficial to cleanse and appreciate them, especially before/after readings.

Rubbing lavender oil/perfume/incense over the back of each card, then putting them together in the upright position. Shuffle them and then put them to rest. Buy a lovely piece of silk, either black, purple, green, white or gold. You can then either put them into a box with a selection of spiritual images or you can leave them in their silk cloth and place them in a place where they are hidden and wont absorb energy from those living in your house/Space. Additionally you may wish to keep them in a box with fresh or dried herbs, Pine or crystals like Red Jasper and white Onyx. It is equally important not to sleep with them in your bedroom., unless you are meditating with an individual card, that is best placed under your pillow. The energy associated with the card will emanate through the pillow and into your subconscious state, thus unlocking the door to a greater understanding of its teaching.

Before reading the Tarot it is beneficial to meditate. Choose a place where you can have piece and tranquillity and time to digest the energy associated with the card. Light some candles, light some incense and still your mind. Hold the pack in your left hand or place your palm over them and ask them to work with you and through you to benefit your spiritual development as well as those whom you aim to read in the future. You may like to say a prayer and visualize yourself in a space with white light extended to all four corners of the room. Within the white light visualize a door. Stood at this door when it opens is your spiritual door keeper. The door keeper can bring forth the energy associated with the card you are going to learn.

Always after any spiritual work, ask the images to return into the light, and back through the door. Close the door and allow the image of the white light to fade. Say a prayer to close and open your eyes. Write down your experience associated with that card. In time you are able to create your own journal as living through the deck of the Tarot.

There are four suits, the wands, cups, swords and coins. Each suit has its own individual teaching and lesson. The suits in many ways represent the lessons we have to attain in our lives. The Major Arcana, total 22 cards represent then main lesson. In the Tarot part 3 I will introduce you to the suits of the Tarot and their meanings. The Tarot (Part 1)

The History of the Tarot

"The Tarot could be described as Gods Picture Book or it could be likened to a Celestial game of chess, the trumps being the piece to be moved according to the law of their own order over a chequered board of the four elements"

Historians have turned to the word "Tarot" to attempt to solve its origin.
Some believe that the Tarot comes from the ancient Egyptian word "Ta- rosh" which means "The Royal Way"
Others however believe that it is an anagram of "Rota" meaning wheel, similar to the Chakras. They feel the cards represent the circle of life from birth to death.
Others on the otherhand feel it derives from the Hebrew word "Torah" which means "law" deriving from the ancient and mystical system of the "Cabalah". Interestingly the Cabalah actually originated in Spain, yet the Tarot major trumps are traditionally, not actually used. "Thoth" is the Ancient Egyptian God of Magic and Wisdom, an attempt from the mystical east mentions that the cards originated in the initiation temples. Moving to the European homelands the Hungarians believe it derives from the word "Tar" meaning deck of cards which in turn derives from "sanskrit", originally "Taru".

The word "Gypsy" is an old English abbreviation of "Egyptian". Interestingly there is place in France, "The Crypt of the Church of Les Maries de la Mer" in the Camargue region of Southern France, that is exclusive to Gypsies. It contains a shrine to Saint Sara of Egypt, supposedly their patron saint. Some believe her to be catholic others see her as "Sarapis" The Egyptian God of the Dead. It is also believed in French folklaw that the Shrine of Saint Sara rests upon an ancient altar dedicated to Mithras, the Persian Sun God.

The early scholars believed that the earlies form of playing cards originated in China and Korea. The earlies examples have been found dating back as far as the 11th century. The design of the cards appears to have been based on a design similar to paper money. These evolved in the T ang Dynasty (618-908 A.D.). However a chinese dictonary, Ching-tze-tung, claims the playing cards were invented in 1120A.D. for the amusement of the Emperors concubines!

There is a belief that the cards originated from India. There is a Hindu Diety called "Ardhanarishvara" an andrógenos figure combining the right half of the God Shiva and the left his consort Parvati. This is often depicted holding a cup, a sceptre, a sword and a ring. The Monkey God "Hanuman" is often shown holding these emblems. They are similar to the four suits of the Tarot, the cups, wands/staves, swords and coins/disks/pentacles.
It is possible that the four suits refer to the four castes of Hinduism, cups being the priests, Swords the warriors, Wands the Serfs and Coins the Merchants

From the time of the Islamic Empire, Egpyt had been sort out by many wizards minds to be the magical and mystical kingdom where many secrets originated.
The word "Alchemy" interestingly derives from Arabic, meaning "The art of Khem" or "Egypt".
Egypt seems to be held by many occultists as the birth place of the Tarot. It was here that its power was re-discovered.

It was only in the 14th Century that the Tarot entered into Europe. At the time Christianity reigned supreme, even though there was a strong under current of Paganism. Unfortunatly there were terrible persecutions of Heretics. A rise of Hereticle Christian Sects, which are grouped under the title "Gnosticism"
The word Gnostic is derived from Greek and implies simerly to the "Anglo Saxon" word for "Wizard" or "Witch" or "someone who knows" "a wise man"
Gnostisism is mixed with Indian, Caldean, Persian, and Egyptian Magical doctrines. They are seasoned with Greek Philosophy and Hebrew Cabalistic beliefs.
These unorthodox Christian sects were called such names as "Waldenes", "Cathari", "Albigenses", "Bogornils" and the Monastic Order, known as the "Knights Templar"

Alexandria became the centre for Gnostic learning around the 2nd century A.D.
It is from this welter of Gnostic Cults that the "occult arts" of the west appear to derive such as Alchemy, astrology, and images of the tarot.
Popular demand for cards far outweiged Religious opposition to them and by the mid 15th Century, card making workshops were thriving in the Cities of Italy, France, Germany and Belgium

In 1781, eight years before the French Revolution, "Antoine Court de Gebelin", a french occultist and archeologist proposed a theory that the "Gypsy Tarot" was the remains of an ancient "Egyptian Book of Magical Wisdom". The effect of this work became the tool for the "Rosicrucian Sages" and it was fated as the bible of all true occultists.

"Eliphas Levi" a French Rosicrucian" writer and Cabalist, inspired the 18th century occult revival. He discovered that there was an apparent link between the 22 leters of the Hebrew Alphabet and the cards of the Major Arcana. He was the first to give elements to suits.

A secret society was born, "The Golden Dawn" foundered by three scholars, Wynn Westcott, S.L.Macgregor Mathers and Dr. William K. Woodman. A blend of Eliphas Levis theosophy and magical cabalism as well as Egyptian Rosicrucian ceremonies typical of the 17th and 18th centuries. The purpose was to reach mystical illumination and magical power. The chief symbol that the group used for its teaching was the "Tree of Life" based on medieval philosophy of Spanish Juaism Known as Cabala.

Letting Go of a loved one

Last week I set you an additional task in moving a pencil out of a drawn circle using the power of your mind. Did any of you achieve the task.
There is a possibility that you did see it hovering slightly or even the elusion that it was levatating.
The example of this exercise is not for you necessarily to move the pencil, but more to still your mind as well as focusing you energy on one thing.
Thats the secret. Basically if you focus all your available and channelled energy on one thing then the task in hand can be achieved.

This week I wish to focus upon the signs that are presented to us on a daily basis.
Often our lives are just so hectic that we dont have time to stop and be aware of the signs available to us

How can I communicate with my departed mother, how do I know if she is watching over me?

Firstly I wish to offer my condolences to the departure of your mother. Losing a loved one is hard and emotionally stressful.
You may be feeling right now a desire or need to connect to your departed loved one. This may give you reasurrance that they are at peace as well as a knowing that our lives continue in some form of existance after this one.

Our lives do continue and the journey to the otherside can be as stressful for the person departing as well as those who are left behind. Last year I read a book, that I wish to recommend, called "Many lives, Many Masters" by Brian Weiss. In the book it details through several regression states into past life regression the time of passing from one world to another.
When a person is ready to pass a light, bright as a thousand suns appears, to which they enter. They feel no pain. Pain is a Physical experience. Once we have left the physical body, the pain does not continue. However they only find it hard to enter the light when a person here on the earth plain finds it hard to let go. This is not to say that they have not passed over, but their energy may be lingering until they have given you a sign, a reasurrance that all is well.

In the past I have taken students into meditations where they ascend into the etheric world, the place where they become in touch with their light body. When they are in a meditave state, they never experience pain. It is only when they re-enter the physical that they begin to become aware of their pain. That would tell us that suffering or pain is a lesson.

The following exercise is a meditation beneficial for those of you who find it hard to let go of your loved ones.
Even when you let go, their energy of love will still be around when you need it, but theyre journey on the otherside must also continue. Our soul is eternal and never stops growing and evolving.

For best results you can get a friend to read this and listen to the words. Read the Meditation slowly and calmly, leaving time in between for meditation. If at any point you feel the need to cry, then allow the tears to flow, they aid the release.

Firstly sit in a comfortable position.
Take a deep breath in through the nose, hold for a count of 2 and breath out slowly through the mouth. You can repeat this three of four times until you begin to feel a little more relaxed.
If you have any tension, take a deep breath and breathe into that area of the body where you are experiencing the pain, then breathe out slowly. Lastly take a deep breath in but breathing in white light and breathe out into your aura, expanding it and filling it with a bright light of love.

Now take your attention to the top of your head and slowly relax the muscles at the top of your head and face, relax.
Relax your face neck and shoulders, relax.
Relax the muscles of your shoulders, arms, hands and fingers, relax.
You are starting to become calmer and more relaxed
Relax the muscles of your chest, your back and your stomach, relax
Relax your pelvis, legs, feet and toes, relax
You are feeling calmer and more relaxed

Place your hands on your lap with palms facing upward
In the palms of your hand, visualize sense or imagine a ball of light
Imagine this ball of light getting larger and larger and larger until it fills all four corners of the room
Feel the light of love in this room, feel the sense of love and protection.

At this point you may wish to say a personal prayer.

( 2 mins)

Now picture your mother or departed loved one. Feel their energy stood at your side.
Focus upon a happy memory that you both shared.
Spend a few moments recollecting this special time together
(it is important to not focus upon the sad times or the times of the passing)

(2 mins)

Now I want you to imagine, sense or visualize a port. This can be anywhere or even your imagination, just allow the images to be received.
Imagine walking through the docks of that port with your loved one.
At the end of the peir is a ship.
Make your way towards the ship.
You approach the steps that boards the ship
It is time to say good bye to your loved one as they have to take this voyage alone, without you.
Spend precious moments with your loved one and say all the things you wish you had said prior to their initial passing.

Embrace your loved one
Feel her energy enveloped with yours
Smell her perfume
ASK HER FOR A SIGN.
(you can ask them for a specific word or image )
Ask her to produce the sign within a 2 week time period, that way you will receive your confirmation in a short space of time)
Ask her to present you with a sign, so you will know that they have got to the otherside.
So you know that the ship has made its destination.

Now see her stepping aboard
She begins to walk away from you.
She is smiling, smiling and thanking and thinking of you.
If you smile back then their journey to the otherside will be more peaceful and easier.
The ship begins to leave the port.
The ship sets sail towards the setting sun.

Stand on the portside, continuing to wave farewell, yet knowing that you will meet again.
See her waving and smiling.
The ship is silloueted by the setting sun. Almost a dot until it is no more
Yet you retain the knowingness of love with in your heart.

Spend a little time for contemplation with the experience

Say a little prayer and again ask for your sign to give you confirmation that your loved one is at peace.

You may wish to write down your experience on paper or share a hug/tears with a friend.

Following from last weeks article- Staying grounded. Part 2

I gave you a little insight into the question that had been asked from a reader regarding Staying Grounded.
Additionally I gave you a meditation to practise to encourage greater connection and sustainability within your life, especially if you are working within the field of Therapies or Spiritual development. However I must state that this can be used by anyone who wishes to meditate orfeel a sense of purpose or connection.

Since writing the article a couple of people have crossed my path and stated that they felt they were lost, just drifting through life and not really knowing whether they should be here in Spain or in the Uk or in fact further a field. The constant barrage of media coverage in western media outlets does not help matters as the majority of people find themselves conditioned that there is no hope and the world is suffering a great depression, with the Crisis.

If you learn to step away from media influences and look towards and give energy to what you want to fulfil you stand a better chance of creating. God/the universe loves a trier. Many successful men and women in history once had nothing and created abundance through hardwork and determination to succeed.

Firstly I wish to address the meaning of the meditation that I gave you last week.

Staying Grounded- The seed

Firstly you found yourself in a meadow, colourful and a creation of your own making. This place that you found yourself is a representation of the otherside, the spirit world.

The Path you followed once walking through a gate, was your journey in the spirit world. The path took you to a Farm house where you met the farmer and his wife/partner.
The representation is your guides,/God/goddess energy that is on the otherside assisting you with the birth and creation of your soul.

The food and drink given represents your sustainability and your nourishment

The seed given in the palm of your hand, represents your soul

You are asked to take the seed into the wilderness. This is the point that you leave the spirit world and make your descent to the earth plain

You are asked to find a place to bury the seed. a place where you feel the seed can grow
This represents a place where your soul can and will be nourished. If it is a place you grew up, then you will know and understand the lessons learned, if it is a place not visited then it is there for you to seek so you can reach a fulfillment for your soul

You are asked to dig a hole and place the seed within the hole, feed it with water and cover it up. You are then asked to sit back and watch your seed grow-

Watching the roots burrow into the ground gives the seed strength to grow. The energy it connects with feeds the seed so it is able to rise up and embrace the light of day. The seed represents your soul . The type of tree that you blossom into will give a bearing into the type of character and lessons that you will experience in this lifetime.
Seeing Blossom on your tree will denote that you are starting to flower within yourself. The colour will give a bearing on the lessons and chakra that is to be nurtured.
If you bore fruit, then it is a ripe time to move forward with your life and realize that you have a special gift to share.

You were asked to hug your tree. Hugging the tree represents a hugging and loving of the self. You become intouch with your own soul and the energy that runs though the very core of who you are. The texture of the bark also denotes the type of character and personality you show to the world. The age of the tree denotes the age of your soul.

Now take yourself back to that place, to your tree and become aware of what it looks like. Dont try to change anything to make things fit, learn to love your tree as it is. It will only change as you become more connected and focused on the exercise.

An addition you can make to the meditation is to sit with your back against the tree visualizing the roots below, the energy running through the tree from below and from the heavens down through the universe and the sky and into the tree. Feel both energies within your heart. Then visualize or imagine a ring of light around your tree. A spinning ring of light. This is protection. Know that you are always protected and that noone can harm you. Take that light within your heart and feel the love of God within your soul, your seed of life.

As I mentioned above the secret to success comes from focus. Your intention for that desired outcome largely depends on you and the energy you give out. Obviousdly when you channel energy as opposed to magnetic energy the outcomes will vary. However everyone is capable of attaining a goal.

Exercise B

Take a piece of paper and place a pen or pencil in the centre of the page

Next draw an oval circle around the pen/pencil

Now sit down with your back upright and the palms of your hands placed gently on your lap

Face the page and pen/pensil

Now with the power of your mind move the pen/pensil across the page and out of the circle.

Staying Grounded

You have heard the expression, "keep your feet on the ground". Staying grounded on the spiritual path is paramount to achieve focus and direction.
With your feet firmly on the ground, enables the human spirit to know what is wanted, needed to reach fulfillment and success.

If you take an idealology of a Tree as a significator to represent the human spirit.

If a tree does not have roots, it finds it hard to grow spread its branches, blossom and bare fruit/seeds.
If we do not have depth, and sustained energy, we are restricted within our own lives. We are unable to spread our wings and expand our horizons.
Not having a direction or self belief, limits the amount of achievement that the human spirit is capable of. Staying within a comfort zone limits the growth and resourcefulness of the soul.

Working on the path of spiritual development, people can become absorbed within what they are learning. Passion for life and a belief is great as long as you dont lose sight of what else is going on around you. I have seen some people developing, putting great emphasis upon what they are getting and how much it has helped. Unfortunately this is a sign of the ego creeping in. Once you let the ego in it can create a divide between reality.

I try to encourage students to remain grounded and focused in what they are doing as well as living a fulfilled and happy life. Spiritual development may only take you to the next level where you are able to maintain greater happiness than before. Love is actually a great significator in attaining inner peace, happiness and fulfillment.

Many people have a desire to become a medium. It appears to be a great attraction . When I have asked the question "Why do you wish to become a medium?" the answer has often been , "Because I want to help people". Thats great, but first you have to help and develop yourself. Most Mediums have also walked the path of healing. This teaches you to channel energy as well as open the third eye as well as introduce you to the "Clairsentience" (Clear feeling) which is a basis to development for mediumship.

Whether it is mediumship, psychic development or healing the basic principle is to stay grounded.
There are those who think that they have walked the path for a while and dont need to ground themselves. Unfortunately they are wrong. Not grounding the self , creates illhealth, lack of focus and self esteem, lack of direction and depression. It also enables the ego to take over. Once the ego steps in the gift is lost and what you are receiving is not coming from the heart, but the mind to fill the ever growing ego.

So how do I ground myself?
I have written many meditations. Here is one that is also available on CD.
It is better if you can get a friend to read the meditation to you, that way you will access greater connection to what you are achieving. Read it slowly allowing the images to take affect.
Firstly find an enviroment where you can relax and unwind for about 20 minutes. If you say to yourself, I dont have time, then find time.
Remember if you want to develop, then you will be able to find time.

When you are grounding yourself it is best to do the meditation seated. Laying down, may take you away from what you are trying to achieve.

Close your eyes. Take a deep breath in through your nose, hold for a count of three and breathe out through your mouth.
Repeat this three times untill you begin to feel a little more relaxed. When the body is able to relax it is able to consentrate and sustain improved health and relaxation.
Many people do not actually know how to breathe. Many breathe very shallow, not filling the lungs with air.

Now as you breathe in, imagine breathing in a bright white light. Imagine that light filling the body. As you breathe out, breathe that white light into your aura (the energy field that surrounds your being). Expand your light outwards to a comfortable distance. Imagine your aura sparkling with white light. Focus upon how much healthier you are beginning to feel.

Visualize, imagine or think that you are in a field. Imagine the long grass swaying in the wind. Picture trees at one end of the field. Become aware of brightly coloured wild flowers in the field.
Lie down and smell the fragrance in the air. Stare at the blue sky above as the occaisional cloud passes by. Feel the gentle caress of the breeze upon your cheeks.
(pause)

Now get up and walk through the field until you come to a gate. Walk through the gate and you find yourself upon a path. The path leads into a lush green valley. Walk this path observing the beauty that surrounds you. (Allow any images to present themselves).
(Pause)

In the distance you make out some farm buildings. As you approach a figure of a farmer, with a jolly smile steps towards you. He welcomes you and states that he has been waiting for you.
You are welcomed into his home where his wife has baked some fresh bread and has a cooking pot on the stove. You sit at the table. You are given drink and a plate of food . Allow all images to present themself to you. (Be aware of what you receive).

Once you have finished your meal, the Farmer walks you towards the door. You thank them kindly for their hospitality.

As the farmer shakes your hand he places a seed in the palm of your hand. He states "You must walk into the wilderness, go where you must go . When you reach your destination, plant this seed."
Thank the farmer and bid farwell as you embark on your voyage. Allow time and your minds eye to take you to a place where you feel you want to plant your seed. (dont question what you receive, only accept the images that come to you).
(Pause)

You have now reached your destination. Now dig a hole and plant your seed. Place the seed in the hole. Place a little water and then cover it up. Now sit back and watch as your seed begins to grow. Imagine the roots burrowing deeper and deeper into the earth. As the roots connect to the center of the earth, they connect with a golden light. Imagine the golden light rising up through the roots and filling that seed with light. The light enables the seed to grow. Visualize the seed sprouting, a bright green shoot, reaching upwards. Moving up through the earth until it pushes up through the earth, embracing the light of day. Once in the light the shoot becomes a stem, then a trunk. Expanding and sreading into branches. See your tree filled with leaves and blossom. Allow the image of the tree to present itself to you. (What tree do you have?)
(Pause)

Once in bloom walk towards your tree. Embrace it. Hug your tree and feel the energy of the earth running though its existance. Feel that energy running through you. Look up through the branches and feel the light from the heavens blessing each leaf, feel the light running through the branches the trunk and into the earth. Feel that light within yourself. Feel the texture of the bark against your cheeks.
(Pause)

Now sit with your back against the tree. Become at one with your tree. Feel its energy. Feel its power.

Now watch the blossom turn to fruit/seeds.

One fruit/seed descends towards you. This is a gift. Treasure it as it is yours to sow.

The last couple of articles have detailed meditations via the connection with the higher-self and onward and upward to the connection to the Akashic records.
These articles are also based on findings that our group, the Symbolic Whispers Development Circle, have connected with. Research I feel is paramount within this arena of study as in many ways it backs up evidence of a co-existance of reality. Last week other members of the circle met and engaged on a similar journey, to one that other members had experienced. There had not been any corrospondance between the individuals in question, nor were they aware of what we were going to connect with on that week.

I feel it is also important to look at co-incidences and explore thier meanings of what the correlation between the significance and the reality is. On this particluar evening, 9 persons were sitting in the circle. Firstly we explored the power of 9 and what this actually means. 9 in the number for completion. It is also seen as a spiritual number and within numerology is correlated with the colour gold. Gold vibrational learnings and teachings often bring with it a profound and powerful teaching. 9 is also the number of the Hermit in the Tarot. Thus it would explain that within the month of Virgo a lesson about finding the inner light comes to the fore. Perhaps this is a universal lesson in that around september/october we as a whole will learn a profound lesson that will affect humanity. Each person in turn expressed what they felt 9 represented.

Following this we entered into meditation (after bringing in the light to secure the presence of love)

Nothing is ever scripted, when we enter into a meditive state. We let intuition guide us.

As number 9 was so apparent we entered though time and space. Within the solar system and universe there are portals that take us to various dimensions. Here we entered through a portal that displayed the number 9. Was it just co-incidence or did we all just see the same thing? It was here that we were able to access our higherselves.

Each person either saw rainbow colours, shapes or even a figure of a light being
This time the higher self was connecting each person to an element of inner child. It was apparent that there was a need to access the child within to access the lesson for the higher teaching. Once the higher self had been accessed then the journey to the library of light, the Akashic Records is accessed. The detail of the persons in meditation was as though they were watching a science fiction movie. The powers that each one accessed and the memories from a former life to this one was found.

The Akashic records contain books for each persons soul journey. The book will have your name on the front. often embossed in Gold writing and bound in a dark brown or red cover. This is so you know that the book is yours. As you access the book together with the higher self you are able to read the book. Often you open the book and look at the current lifetime that you are working through. Each lifetime is a chapter in the book. The book of your soul journey has already been written. Its already happened, the past present and future are all one.
On this particular journey to the Akashic records we were able to access the life before this one. It was healthy to hear that it wasnt a group of famous celebraties of cleopatras or kings, but ordinary people , mainly from the 1820s- 1920s era. Interestingly each person connected to the era of 20s.
Ordinary lessons such as money, aloneness, study, defence and so forth. We also were shown parts of this lifetime and our reason for returning. As manyu of us are healers, intuitives and mediums in our own right it was interesting to see what the lesson was that we had come to experience. Much of it was about truth, sharing, teaching, love, and unconditional love.

We also receive soul names. Those who had connected to the higherself and Akashic records prior to this one had a deeper and stronger connection with much more detail. Some received writing in other languages and although they were unable to read the words, there was an inner knowing of what was written. Interestingly a couple of people saw their books written in Japanese. Could this be the reason that they had connected to the source of Reiki in this lifetime to be able to connect with the energy within their soul?
Soul names such as Jeshua, Alba, Livisha, Aneal, Cristiana, Kabi, Ashtar, Inca and Louisa were found. Once soul names are found the work begins in finding out what their universal meaning represents. These are Symbolic Whispers.
Whispers from the higher-self through the energies of guides or any other form that you personally feel a connection with. These were given and received. When we recieve evidence it is important to study and digest what has been given as well as understanding the corrolation between the words and the initial number nine that we started with.

Luis and I will be getting married in the old pagan way on Beltane in Istan on the 1st May 2009. Tieing the Knot derives from the tradition of "Handfasting". In olde Scotland, the poor who were unable to afford to marry, entered into "Handfasting" for 1 year and 1 day. Within that time period they would know whether they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together, or whether they wanted to part company. If they wanted to be together then within that time they would have saved enough money to afford a proper wedding.

We aim to be together longer than a year and a day. We are making a committment of love, presided over by a high priestess. Well known Irish Psychic and writer, Sandra Ramdhanie will be presiding our ceremony.

Our official signing for our marraige will be made in the court in June, where, in Spain it is seen equal to marraige of the usual kind. (Legal with same rights and opportunities).

Our handfasting is something where all who are attending have a part to play, bringing food to share, showing that weddings dont have to be too expensive and can be enjoyable as well as being a celebration of Love. A visit to the Akashic Records

Last week I introduced you to the connection to the higherself.
This is an incredibly powerful place to be associated with.
There is limitless possibilities and an abundance of intuition that can be attained with this hightened sensitivity and connection.
Last week I took a group of students into a meditation where they were able to make the connection to the higher-self to reach the "Akashic Records"

What are the Akashic Records?

The word 'Akasha' comes from the Sanskrit word "kash" meaning 'to radiate or shine'.
It is also a term used throughout the various Traditions of Paganism to indicate the Fifth Element, sometimes called 'Spirit'.

Buddhism, Hinduism and Sufism see the "Akashic" as space, ether or the energy that permeates the Universe. Within the etheric plains of this universal space there lies profound knowledge for each individual that walks this earth. We all have recorded our lives in the "Akashic Records".
In many ways this can be described as an etheric library. Here lies the inner knowledge about all the lives we have lived before, living now and our future.
All aspects associated with our existance, lost cities and civilizations can be obtained from this etheric realm.

The interpretation of the Akashic Records was introduced to the West in the early 19th Century by Madame Helena P. Blavatsky, cofounder of the "Theosophical Society" who compared the "akasha" to other interpretations of the "universal life force" by occultists through the ages, such as the "quintessence", that "luminous fifth element" (invisible to ordinary sight) which was seen as binding together in union or pact the other four elements. According to Blavatsky the "akasha" forms the "Anima Anima Mundi" and constitutes the soul and animal spirit of mankind.

Akashan WitchCraft is a new tradition in WitchCraft, based on understanding and respect for all living things. Akashan Witches work with the Elements to create positive change on the Earth, and through a series of deep meditations elicit positive change in their own lives. Akashan WitchCraft is holistic and teaches the student how to maintain their own physical and mental wellbeing, through ritual, yoga, meditation, and dietary fine-tuning. Akashan Witches are expected to have the deepest commitment to their life path.

The Akasha is also commonly termed as the "Book of Life". Rudolf Steiner, for example, claimed to have consulted the Akashic Records for his descriptions of the mythical lost civilizations of Atlantis and Lemuria. Edgar Cayce a well known seer and healer also claimed to have obtained knowledge from the Book of Life.

Before achieving the connection to the Akashic Records it is important to be relaxed, calm and at a place of peace. Entering into meditation into this sacred place can and does release karmic issues connected within this life paralel lives and past lives. I also recommend that a meditation of this kind is beneficial within a group senario or with a professional Medium/Healer that is able to assist you during and after the connection.

What I found incredibly facinating in the connection to the Akashic Records, were the individual experiences that we noted at the end of the Meditation. While in the meditation my Guide or higher-self introduced the individuals to a spiritual guardian of the Akashic Records. Here he told them that they each had a soul name as well as the name they were commonly known as in this lifetime. The soul name is a name that is attributed to the individual soul.

When each person returned from the meditation, experiences were shared as well as the name received. Co-incidence or not, personally I feel there is no such thing, however, the names found were strikingly similar. Many had the letter "A" as the first initial or it was repeated more than 3 times in the name.
For example the name "Kabi" was received by one person. On researching this name derives from India as a Hindi name or name deriving from Nepal.
The Bunya Tree also derives from the word "Kabi" and flourishes in abundance in the Andean Mountains. The Kabi Tribe also existed in Australia and were Ancestral Aboriginis who bore the Temple of the Sacred spiral. Bhanu Bhakta, a famous writer from Nepal became known as "adi Kabi" meaning "First true poet". As you can see by just receiving one word from the Akashic Records, one can receive a wealth of information. Only the soul will feel the energy associated with what is received. If there is a bonding, an inner knowing, then you can be sure that what you discover is part of who you are.
Another name that was received that night was "Agata" The derives from Greek meaning "Good or honorable". Saint Agatha (Agata) was from the 3rd Century, a christian who refused to marry a Roman Consol and was eventually martyred. She became the patron saint of bell ringers. Agate also derives from olde French Origin, meaning semi precious stone. It is said that this stone carries magical and curative powers.

I will cover more of our incredible findings. I would like to add that I feel it is imperretive that when you re receiving information from meditations, that you have received this information for a reason, therefore please research and find out origins and meanings. They are often reflective of what you are experiencing in your current life and are there to teach you a profound and enlightening lesson.

Even more startling than the plot similarities are the symbolic similarities between the Egyptian and Christian stories. Horus was associated both with the lion and with the lamb as was Jesus. Horus was identified with the Tat or cross as well as with the shepherd's crook and the rod. This association was first made through Isis, his mother. In an ancient Egyptian text Isis states that "I am the staff of his power in his youth, and he is the rod of my old age." This association was strengthened by the pharaohs, who were called Kings of the Kingdom and The Great Shepherds of Their Flock. In the tradition of Horus, who was called "The Good Shepherd", the pharaohs carried the staff and rod as the symbols of their heavenly power . Jesus' association with the cross goes without saying but he was also portrayed as the Good Shepherd, and in Rev. 12:5 and 19:15 he is said to "rule with a rod of iron." There are also Old Testament associations between God and the shepherd's crook and the rod. In the Book of Psalms the famous line "Yea, though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me. Thy Rod and thy Staff, they comfort me" ( Psalms 23:4 ) points to the influence of the Egyptian traditions.

Connecting to the Higherself

What is the Higherself?

The higher-self is part of your whole existance yet resides on another vibration that is You. You may understand it as the God self, thus a part of God that is living part of your consciousness state. Some people feel that the Higher-self assists with the element of intuition and inner guidance. You may believe in Angels or Guides, but perhaps their existance is part and parcel of the whole in form of your higherself. This would be true if the higherself was part of God, as that is the highest aspect of Vibration in the Universal Consciousness.

The Higherself is also thought to be energy, powerul vibrating positive energy that contains all your lives that you have lived before as well as those you are actually living through time and space. It is possible that we are living duality lives through a matrix. The Higherself connects to that matrix enabling us to receive messages through meditation and visualiztion.

Recently I took a group of people into meditation to connect them to their higherself. There experiences were profound. Each one connected to the essence and the power of who they are as human beings. Each one saw bright and colourful energy either in the form of golden light or rainbow colours or shapes. When each person connected with the higherself they were able to communicate and become intouch with the energy that they often forget to get in touch with on a daily basis.

In fact how many of you actually trust your intuition? How many of you live your life connected with the higher self. Truefully, very little, a small percentage I feel. The reason is that if we trusted our intuition, we would not worry. We would know and trust what the solution was to our everyday actions and deeds. I feel if we were taught to get in touch with our higherselves from a yound age, then the vibration and consciousness state for mother earth would be in a much more peaceful alignment that where it is right now.

We are taught in a general way that if we want to connect to something higher than ourselves, then we must follow a religion and or a belief system that dictates or shows to us how we must lead our lives to sustain the best life that "God" feels is best for us. Yet could you imagine if that changed? Imagine that from a young age we were taught that we could enter into meditation to connect to a higher consciousness, our higher selves to find the answers to our everyday problems. We have a direct access to God. We are part of that energy. We are the God energy.

The real God energy is uncondtional Love. Unconditional love knows no boundries and makes no restiction. Unconditional means just that. So where in your life do you find an unconditional way of being? What part of the self acts from this point? If we are truely connected to the higherself, then we have found the peace in the world that we all strive to achieve. Reaching the higher self we are able to maintain the equilibrium that fulfils our purpose.

Now here is some food for thought. Could it be that most Mediums actually connect to the higherself to receive messages. The higherself could in actual fact store all the information and imprints of life. Are mediums actually psychically connecting to that imprint to relay messages of hope?
It is said that mediums connect with the Hall of Records found in a library on the etheric realms. Could this actually be our higherself that connects to the etheric realms that relays the information on a psychic level to the medium?

I am interested to hear your comments...

During our connection with the higherself we were also able to connect with previous incarnations that had a reflective appearance on the life that the person was currently living. For example, one gentleman said that he saw me as a boy, a chimney sweep in victorian times. My life then was as a lesson to others. I got stuck up the chimney, and died trapped by the fumes of a fire.
Now this gentleman had not been to the meeting before. This was his first time and he knew nothing of my life. Yet he relaid this to me. This made great sense to me as when I was a boy, I developed childhood athsma. On several occaisions I also found myself involved with fires, on a train, in a building which had re-awakened a fear, yet I was unsure of where it stemmed. Clearly he was tapping into my higherself from his higherself to relay the message. On hearing this, it gave clearence and healing to a past incarnacion.

Connecting to the higherself is incredibly powerful and something I feel we must all learn to acknowledge.

"Chasing Rainbows"

This last week we have seen an un usual amount of rain, and unseasonal temperatures.
However the seasonal refreshment, is uplifting as it is not only welcomed, but also assists in new growth for Mother Earth.
Together with the rain , clouds race magestically across the skies and glistening rays of sunshine burst through giving light to our day as well as our life.
I also witnessed spectacular double rainbows creating an arc of hope for the country and the world. Is it ever possible to find the end of the Rainbow?

Life can be so colourful if we allow it to be. Yet so many of you only look to one side of life, the negative. Have you complained about the weather, because it has ruined your day?
Have you felt depressed because the dull clouds hide the light that you have come here to adore?
Importantly I feel its worth noting, the light is always there. Simerly the light within yourself is always there, but unfortunately you allow the stress and everyday life to cloud your perceptions.

Clouds often come into our life. They come in the form of money worries, doubts fears, daily stress, anxiety, past experiences, the unknown and so forth. Many suffer with the continual mind that never seems to stop.

Why do we allow the clouds to enter our life?
Often there is an outer pressure that manifests and creates a seed. That seed once planted can create a destructive pattern unless it is released to the wind. Recently the "Credit Crunch" has been a major influence on society, almost creating a brainwashing sensation, so that we only believe that life is heading to a pit fall of worry and loss. Yet if we take ourselves away from the influence and dont listen to that constant messages, then we can begin to reclaim our power, and our own truth.
It is also during the cloudy moments that we are able to look at what needs to change before the thunderstorm of life creates a destructive pattern, forcing change to take place.
Yet ,even if that happens, the electricity, the energy of the universe re-inforces us that life is so magical and incredible.
When the rains come the headache of life is released letting go of the past and enabling new life to begin.

The Universal Messenger
We can look at the weather systems as symbols and messages from the Gods/Universe. We are being taught something incredibly valuable, but as a race we have not been listening or recognising the signs. They are getting stronger and now is the time to adhere to the lesson. I am not only suggesting that climate change is the sign from this higher power. I mean yourselves as individuals. Look and feel the power of each weather system and reflect how that corrosponds with what you are feeling within yourself. Try to look at the positive of each system and season.
Additionaly to this, my grandmother used to read the clouds. Yes, Cloud readings. In many ways everything can be read on a psychic level. Next time you lie under an cloudy sky, stare up towards them and create images in the clouds and interpret any messages for yourself or those close by. This is done simply by looking at the images you receive and interpreting them into a story. You will suprise yourself and your friends when you relay your findings.

Magical moments and Rainbows
Rainbows have an almost magical connotación that derive from fairy tales, we know they are very real as we are able to see them. So too is life. We can see that life can be magical as some people in this world have that life. We all have the possibility of making that for ourselves. In many ways it has something to do with your intention and how much time you are prepared to aim for that goal. Use this quiet time to re-establish your focus and and strive for achieving what it is you want to fulfil. In doing so you can find that pot of Gold at the end of the Rainbow.

The Sun always shines
It is worth remembering that the sun always shines. Even when we cant see it, it is there.
Many people reach out for light or hope, but often do not see the wood for the trees. Very often when a thought of hope is projected outwards, it is worth remembering that you always receive the energy you asked for. Not always in the way that you would imagine.
Signs of light may come in the form of the innocence of a child smiling towards you, the view of a magnificent sunrise, an animal trying to get your attention, a letter or e.mail from a friend, a phone call from someone you have not seen for a while, a book that catches your attention, a beautiful landscape, a personal introduction and so forth. These are simple messages that mean something for you to acknowledge within that daily routine. Notice the little things in life, appreciate them and live a fulfilled and positive life in a world of abundance and prosperity.

Spirit communication is profound, but it actually occures everyday of our lives. Often we are just too busy or too pre-occupied to take notice of what our departed loved ones or spirit guides are trying to convey.

How can I connect to my spirit guide?

Firstly it is beneficial to have some experience with meditation. Meditation enables you to still the mind .It stops the chatter, doubts and fears that are often created in the mind that not only prevent communication with spirit, but prevents you from accessing your goals and dreams.
Meditation enables you to focus your intention, of what ever it is that your are reaching to achieve. It maybe that you want to access stillness. Ideally it is beneficial to sit in the silence. The quiet is where we here so much. Over the following weeks I will introduce you to simple preparations that you can incorporate into your daily lives to enable you to reach your spirit guide/spirit communication. Yet as always there are guidelines and foundations to create before you just open up to spirit. Many people join a development circle that teaches ways to connect and communicate with spirit realms. Everyone has an ability to nurture a natural born gift available to us all. You may find that the following exercises give you a gentle intoduction to the path.

Meditation is incorporated into so many spiritual practises.
Here are some meditation practises that you may wish to try in the coming week.

Body awareness exercise

Sit upright in a chair with your hands on your lap with your palms facing upwards.
close your eyes
Become aware of where there is discomfort in the body. Start with the head by scrunching up your face muscles, then release
Tighten the shoulder and arm and hand muscles, then release, become aware of how relaxed you feel as you loosen the muscles
Make the back muscles ridgid, then release
Tighten the chest and stomach, then release
Tighten the buttocks and pelvis area then release
Tighten the leg and feet, then relax
Become aware of your breathing. Take a deep in breath through your nose, hold for a count of 3 then breathe out slowly
Repeat this three or four times until you feel the body begin to relax.

Many people do not breath properly. Many people are not conscious of the way they breathe. But as you begin this exercise you will become aware of any outstanding tension in the body. Just breathe into this area, then breathe out and relax. After a short period you will feel more relaxed.
When the body is relaxed it is able to access a deeper state of being and enable focus and intention to take place.

Focus your Energy
The next step involves placing a pen or pensil on a piece of paper. Then draw around the pen forming a circle or oval shape.
Now sit facing the pen enclosed in the circle ideally on a table.
Now focus all your energy and attention on the pencil.
Now move the pencil with your mind. To fullfil this exercise you need 100% consentration and can not be disturbed.
The power of the mind and focus will move the pencil, either floating or rolled across the paper and out of the circle.

Next week I will explain the purpose of this exercise as well as introducing you to the next stage of communication with your spirit guide.

The Symbolic Whispers Development Circle is back. We welcome back old friends and new.
The 12th January connected many developing mediums and lightworkers into the group.( many who in a couple of years you will probably hear about in the main stream society) A strong connction to spirit was experienced, feeling, sensing and connecting with the spirit world to assist with each persons development as well as the development for the circle as a whole.
Spirit reassured us that whatever we are given, however obscure, that it is important not to allow our judgements to jade a message receive. It is important to relay whatever you are receiving as often it will make sense to the person who is receiving the message. The circle is there to give you confidence and learn to trust what is given. If something does not make sense straight away, it is always beneficial to place it to oneside as it may be beneficial at a late stage in your life.
Another lesson taught us to focus. Often we are so preoccupied with trying too hard to get a message, that we lose touch with what is actually being relayed. We need to surrender to spirit. Invite them in to work with you and communicate with them. If they give you a message and you dont understand why you have received it, then ask them what it means. The spontanious answer will come in, dont think about something, wait remain focused in your connection and listen or see or feel the images being given.

The spirit world also highlighted the current ecconomic crisis and let us realize that there is a shift of consciousness going on. It is a time to appreciate the simple things we often take for granted. It is time to make investments in our life, but not investments of a material level, but more an investmant into what is actually missing in your life. If you find that you have little or no friends, the look at this area and put yourself in a position where you can make friends. Push yourself forward. If there is a rift in your family then dont sit around to wait for someone else to make the first move, but take those important steps forward to invest time in connecting with family. If it is work that is the problem, then focus with intention to be successful. Put all your energy into achieving your desired goal, rather than just plodding along and waiting for something to turn up. We each have the power to take the bull by the horns and take control of our own lives.

The spirit world also taught us that co-operation was very important to intergrate into our lives. Many people especially teachers, often feel they can do everything themselves without asking for help. The current shift is also bringing people together so we in many ways go back to our roots and communicate in the old fashioned way. Remember, before mobiles, text messages and e.mails, our lives were alot more personal. We as a human race have been losing touch with friendship and support. Relaying on the keyboard and computer screen, is not a support and educational system that assists in consciousness. It may create awareness but it also takes away the uses of our commitment to ourselves and our development as a human being.

We all need support, love, friendship in our lives and world, to survive. We were shown that when the going gets tough, or we need help then to ask for help. Dont be a martyr to the cause and feel that you cant ask anyone.

We would just like to say that without the connection to spirit then the circle would not be possible, so we are grateful for their co-operation, as they are grateful for ours. As we develop as humand beings, our guides and loved ones also develop in their own way.

We would also like to thank everyone who attends our meetings. Without you,, the circle would not exist. Being a Catalyst for all this is extremely rewarding.

In search of Development and wholeness

So many people are searching, trying to find a way forward through the stresses of daily life. Everything that happens to us on this path through life, happens for a reason. We can not be the judge of our decisions as this only limits the movement forward. As we begin to find a direction, that we feel we wish to develop, an overwhelming sense of self discovery kicks into play bringing with it an abundance of opportunities and spiritual abundance.

When I mention the word abundance, I am not soley focusing upon the financial aspect that the "West" has its primary focus upon. Abundance can incorporate Love, happiness, friendships, learning and evolvement, health and wellness and work opportunities. Abundance is everything. Yet if we are to develop and become whole we also need to balance our existance by experiencing hardships and upheavels as they assist in feeding our soul and give us inner strength when facing adversity.

Those people who wish to develop their medium and healing gifts often have overcome some great struggle in life before they are drawn to the path. Every situation makes us the person we are today. It is the only way forward to evolve and a spiritual being.

Why are we here on earth?
This has been asked so many times. Basically we are here to evolve. The only way we can evolve is to learn. Now I am sure you have experienced an upheavel or stress or even an embarracing situation, which you may never wish to repeat again. The reason you may never wish to repeat the cycle is because you have learned that that passage in life is not good for your soul to develop. It did not settle with you, but it gave you experience. However it has also assisted you in helping another person in need. There may come a time in your life where a person crosses your path who is going through the cycle you once experienced. In this situation you own empathy and compassion and maybe in a position to assist that person.

How can I develop my awareness?
Awareness is everything that assists with knowing the self. If you dont know who you are, how can you be in a position to help others. It is very true with many healers(channels) , that many who embark upon this path are in fact "people pleasers" and spend much of their time helping others before themselves until they get to a point of burning themselves out. By knowing the self, you are able to access what your own needs are as well as giving you a deeper understanding of others. Lets take Reiki as an example. Mikao Usui who rediscovered the Reiki system in the late 1800s, began working in a beggers camp where he assisted in helping the sick. He healed them which assisted them in going to look for work. However he noticed that they started coming back and begging. At this point he realized that he had assisted with their wellbeing physically, but had not healed their thoughts. As with many Philosophies, Mikao Usui introduced 5 Reiki principles. These are actually quite profound and can teach us to live in the moment. This is in part what "Spirit" teach us, but as a human race find hard to grasp.
The Reiki Principles are: Just for Today, I release all anger, Just for Today, I release all worry, Just for Today, I honour my teachers through life, Just for Today, I earn my living honestly(and work on myself), Just for today I am kind to every living thing. I feel if we have something to live by, to focus upon this can give us a greater understanding of who we are. Meditation is also a fantastic way in which to become aware of the self. One of the most powerful meditations is "sitting in the silence". One of the most beautiful experiences is sitting in a group of 10-18 persons in complete silence.

How often do you stop and make time for yourself?
If you find it hard to answer this question then believe it or not, you are a "people pleaser". Too many people go through their life pleasing other peoples needs and in the process forgetting who they are and why they are here.
Spiritual development and mediumship does not happen overnight. There are also many facets to this development. If you are running around like a headless chicken seeing to the needs of everyone else, then you are not making the time for your own healing and development. Listening is also another aspect to take on board. Many people pleasers have selective hearing or are often excellent at helping other people in situations but dont do anything to help themselves. Too many times I have seen the effects of burnout. Fortunately I was able to observe others mistakes before approaching that experience, however a few years ago I came close to it. It was as though I pulled the breaks before getting into that situation. However it gave me knowledge in assisting people with their development and awareness.
Learning to say NO, is a wonderful experience especially when you would normally say YES. Time for the self is incredibly empowering as well as helping you to find Time. Now anyone who says "I have too much happening in my life", "I havent got time", is just an excuss. Some people like to remain in the comfort zone. These people find it hard to change and move forward. If you really want to develop and work with spirit then you have to re-evaluate your life and find time for that to happen.

What does awareness mean?
This is a general term in knowing yourself. Additionally, when you know yourself, you have a greater understanding of your clients. Awareness can teach you to get in touch with the emotions. For example let us take the emotion "ANGER". Anger tends to derive from situations that are beynd your control. Therefor the issue of CONTROL has a part to play in the situation as des FEAR. If you get in touch with how you personally feel when you feel this emotion, the effects it has on the body, the organs affected, the temperature of the body, the movements and so forth. Once realized, if at a later stage when you are giving a reading and suddenly you are feeling the sense of anger in your body, then you will be able to give forward a message from spirit with the way they were feeling at that time. Additionally if your path is healing(I recommend this path first to any "wanna be medium" as it gives a greater connection to spirit)then the clairsentient ability (clear feeling) comes to the fore.

How can I meet my spirit guide?
Although mediums can connect to the spirit world and bring forth guidance, I personally feel it is beneficial for people to find their own guides. "Let love be their guidance". I have written and recorded some easy to follow visualizations /meditations that take you from this world to the next. Within these you are able to meet your own guides and establish connection in your own enviroment.
Signs are always given by spirit, but unfortunately we are all too often too busy to take notice f what spirit are trying to say to us. Once again either sitting in the silence and asking for a sign, is often all that is needed when wanting to make a connection. Sometimes it can be a confirmation of a flower or a feather or something that only you know you have asked for that is received to give you confirmation of who they are. The emotion that comes into play here is the word TRUST. Our intuition is based upon what we receive and what we trust.

Due to the popularity of the Symbolic Whispers Development Circle, we have now expanded to reach the inland areas. Now the meetings meet twice a month in Fuengirola at Miramar Las Palmeras and twice monthly in Coin at Villa la Paz.

The question we are asked most often is , How do I become a Medium?
Well the first thing one needs to do is to still the mind and become aware of the self.
Self awareness is so important and can be achieved easily through deep relaxation, meditation and visualization. Some people believe that they are unable to relax. I have heard this so many times, yet once taught the simple steps to accessing deep relaxation and meditation, the connection to self is achieved.

One of the principle reasons for knowing the self is to be able to differinciate between messages from the spirit world and your own personal existance here on earth. Many healers and lightworkers are especially prepared to connect with spirit as they have already accessed the self and spiritual understanding of being a channel for energy. However there are many who posess a natural gift of communication and only need to be nudged in the right direction to embrace their unique gifts.

Messages come in many forms. Sometimes it is through a scent like perfume or tobacco. Those of you, and I am sure there are many who have lost a parent or loved one, may have expereinced a visitation, just once. This may have been a knowing that someone was there, a tickle like hair brushing across your face, a scent of their favorite perfume, the smell of their cigar. You may have seen your departed loved one sat on your bed bidding you goodnight or even a soft caress and a gentle kiss on the forehead.

Receiving Messages
Believe it or not, but many of us actually receive messages from spirit on a regular basis, but are often too busy to pay attention to what is being offered and sent our way. Sometimes when spirit are trying to get ur attention , it is not uncommon for electrical problems to manifest, such as televisions r computers to falter. These are mdes of communication. They are mediums to which we connect to to receive the news and programmes. That is often the message they are trying to relay. Either cntact a medium to receive the messages they are trying to convey to yu or find a way in which you can develop yourself.

When you mention the word "spirit" who are you talking about?
Spirit can be represented by a deceased loved one to whom you had a heart connection. Heart connection means a relationship with or a family/friend/client connection. Spirit can also be termed to represent the Energy of God. After all we are all one energy and are all connected to that which is whole. Spirit can be used as the general term in connection of the material and earthly existance to the spirit world we know and understand as heaven or the other-side.

Introduction
Symbolic Whispers offers you insight into the spirit world and self and spiritual development. The Symbolic Whispers development Circle is based in Fuengirola, in Southern Spain. Its primary task is to teach training mediums and light-workers to create a stronger connection to the spirit world and Universal Consciousness.

Through this column we aim to highlight the connection to the spirit world. Please send in your questions conserning the spirit world. If you would like a reading please write one question and a reply will be given in the following edition or to you privately.

What is the point in trying to connect to the spirit world?
Scientists have been trying to prove that there is life after death, yet mediums through the centuries have connected and brought back proof that there is an existance beyond this one. Many people who have lost a loved one often feel the need to connect with their departed, for their own healing and coming to terms as well as closure to emotional hurt and bereavement. Connecting to the spirit world assists in healing both for the departed as well as those left behind.
We can also learn alot about ourselves and our life purpose. It is not only those who have departed that are contacted for assistance, but also spirit guides, Guardian Angels, Ascended Masters and spiritual teachers.

What is a development Circle?
A development circle is aimed at developing the spiritual self as well as learning methods of communication. Although it is not a healing circle, healing does take place. The development circle helps to assist with your own needs of spiritual development. Each person may have different gifts such as Clairvoyant ( clear seeing/visual) clairsentient (clear feeling sensing) clairaudient ( Clear hearing) or of course a combination of all. You may be psychic, where you have an ability to know about a persons life and read their minds. You may have an incredible gift where you can see spirit and communicate with them. Unless you are aware of yourself, you will not know what gifts you have or how to develop them further.

How do I know I have found the right circle for me?
If you are attending a development circle, you should feel uplifted by the end of the evening. You may have a headache around your thirdeye, yet this is normal in the beginning as you are starting to use a muscle that has not been used before. A circle should focus upon opening with a prayer or an uplifting song. Meditation on the light and protecting yourself with the aura. Your chakras should also be opened and activated to teach you to become a channel for the energy, a working medium. You are after all the transmitter. This needs to be in a good working order to enable you to make a stronger connection. Closing down is also important as you can not remain open to spirit all the time.

I have heard reports where people have attended circles and felt drained or have received negative messages. This is therefore a circle that is not working for the highest good of the members of the circle.

Spiritual development, confidence and healing are often felt during meetings. Many people comment that they feel a great sense of peace or a powerful sense of love. It is not uncommon to feel tearful especially when spirit is close. Overall connecting to the other-side is a special gift to be nurtured.

Why are we here?

This is the million dollar question. Why is it that so many people question this?
It appears quite obvious that our main reason for existing is to learn. Learning enables us to evolve and s to become whole. Wholeness is the ultimate goal for the soul. The human body contains a soul and attributed to that soul in this current lifetime is your spirit. The spirit contains within it your personality.

As we evolve we add through lifetimes to learn different aspects of human consciousness. We learn about the spectrum of personality and experience within the world. The world is a reflection of our existance and tells us the story of how and why we are here.

There is the builder. He is here to construct. There is the teacher, he/she is here to pass on knowledge. The chef is here to feed us, the roadworker is here to maintain, the dustman to clear the rubbish, the shop keeper to sell so we can buy and so forth. The world can not exist without each of us here. This is what we are learning. To appreciate every aspect. Even the murderer teaches us that there is right and wrong. However in the spirit world, judgement does not exist as we are all aspects of the same consciousness.

It may be hard to understand but it is true. The churches responsibility to man is to show that there is a connection from our world to the next. Judgement is not a part of its existance thugh mans invasion into belief has given birth to a differing system. Spirituality however teaches unconditional love for all without making boundries. Everyone deserves unconditional love irrelevant f what they have said or done in their life. Their place in the world has taught someone something positive, which is the universal reasn as to why we are here.

How to develop as a Spiritual Medium

Firstly, I believe that we need to have a sense of humour. "Spirit" are not "upstairs" being all serious about life. If there was one important lesson they would wish us to learn, would be to live in the moment. Its incredible really, if you think about it, most people who face life threatening illnesses, then for whatever reason gain strength and continue their journey here, re-evaluate their lives completely. It is one of the lessons to still the mind and connect with the source and the silence so you may hear the unsaid words or feel the unfelt vibrations.

Sometimes we are just too busy with our lives to pay attention to the signs that "spirit" give to us. Yet believe it or not, everyone of us receive messages, yet we tend to brush them off as co-incidence or we simply are not aware of what is happening. This is why it is so important to expand ones awareness of ones world.
When was the last time you walked down the street and stopped and observed a flower opening its petals to greet the midday sun?

You may ask what that has to do with developing as a medium. It actually teaches you to become aware of your own world, so that you may know what is real in one world and what is real in another.

Our aim through the development circle is to teach you to connect with the universe and your surroundings as well as the energy of spirit. It is only when you are still that you will listen, feel, see, sense the energy of spirit. It is important that you are not afraid of the unknown. Interestingly there are so many people who want to connect to the otherside, yet they fear the unknown in their own lives.

We need to learn to trust. If we trust ourselves, our lives then we are in a position to trust spirit and open to trusting what we are receiving as far as messages go.

Not everyone who sits in a development circle will develop as a medium. Some of you may just heighten your sensitivity, some of you may be psychic and others clairvoyant. Mediums are able to see, feel, sense, spirit and connect with departed loved ones to bring back messages for those left behind. In many ways it aids spiritual counseling and eases pain. Sometimes it helps to close a chapter and move on knowing there is still a loved one on the other side. Mediumship is there to prove that life cntinues on the otherside.

Some mediums may not connect with loved ones and instead work with Angels and Spirit guides and Ascended Masters to assist in Teaching and development.
Sometimes you may find that your development leads you on to spiritual counseling.
Whatever your unique special gift you have, our aim is to nurture and bring out the best. We believ in you as an individual so therefore encourage you to move forward in a positive way.

Our teaching modual has been handed down by spirit. Jason is guided by his spirit guides to assist in teaching you and meeting your individual needs. To encourage your development, we set you homework so that you are able to expand your knowledge.

We currently have two groups. Students attend every two weeks, however there is an option to attend every week if you wish, thus interacting between the two groups.

There are three important factors that must be considered when conducting a séance. They are; the purpose, the quality of the sitters and the location. Each of these must be provided for to increase the expectation for a reasonably successful outcome.

The conducting medium:
The medium should be one that has already presided over a séance before and is familiar with the importance of insuring that the basic requirements mentioned above are met. The séance may be conducted by a non-experienced person, however, the success of the outcome may be affected because of a lack of attunement. In either case, it is up to the conducting medium to assure that the conditions outlined below are met.

Purpose:
The purpose for the séance should be established prior to the meeting. Is it to contact someone’s deceased relative or friend, find spirit guides, or to conjure apparitions? Whatever the purpose it must be the only purpose for all the sitters and this must be the only thought in everyone’s mind. There cannot be divided purposes in the circle once it begins because it will weaken if not destroy the singleness of psychic energy needed in the séance. It is up to the conducting medium to query each sitter, and to make them aware of the importance of a single mind among them all. All thoughts of personal affairs, the day’s events or any other distracting thoughts must be put aside because these also interfere with maintaining a single energy.

The sitters:
Desire to be there is the primary qualification for a sitter. Without this there is a loss in the expectation that gives the séance that special feeling. If you have to drag someone into the circle, you’re doing the wrong thing. Here are the types of people you want in the circle:

1. Someone that really wants to be there, who is serious and not frivolous or silly and giddy. Positive and uplifting people that will add their energy.
2. A family member that wants to make contact with a deceased loved one. (In the case of seeking such contact) They must not be grasping and groping for the connection, but rather, subjective and patient for whatever comes. Grasping and desperate persons sometimes block the energy, so they must put their feelings in check and be neutral.
3. Persons that are empathetic and can inject love into the séance. Love is the vibration of communication in the spirit world. Its presence enables communication to take place.

Avoid these people:

1. The skeptical and cynical person will act like a sinker. Just one will drain the entire circle of its energy and the result will fulfill the skeptic’s expectations. Even if it is a family member, do not allow this person to be a part of it.
2. A fear filled person has almost the same effect as the skeptic, because fear is one of the great negatives that have a counter effect to the positive love vibration. Their fear may be self generated or the result of religious superstition, nevertheless, avoid this one also.
3. Anyone full of hate or envy against anyone in the circle or outside of it, will have the same deleterious effect as the previous two.

Location:
There are two best choices. The first is to hold it in a neutral location free from outside disturbances, noises, and interference, preferably one that has been previously used for such a purpose. Next is to hold it in a place that has a symbolic connection to the purpose. For example, hold it in the home of a deceased person you’re trying to establish contact with, because there will be objects and artifacts that still have their owner’s imprint within them. Incidentally, these personal artifacts can also be brought to a neutral meeting place.

The gathering for the séance or Circle
Wait until everyone is present and then sit around and make small talk for about twenty minutes to give everyone time to settle down and get accustomed to the setting. Then you will be able to begin.

The Séance/Circle format:

1. Everyone should be sitting around in a circle, either around a table or with straight back chairs. They should be close enough to hold hands, but not touching knees. The lights should be dim or have candles. You need just enough light to see everyone’s face. Do not conduct the meeting in total darkness, its not necessary.
2. Play some soft meditative music in the background for at least ten minutes. Then its time for the conducting medium to remind all present that the love vibration carries communication and to invoke it now. Then the purpose is said aloud to everyone. In the case of seeking spirit guides, remind everyone to remember any feelings, visions and thoughts they receive in the session so they can be shared with all present. For the case of conjuring apparitions, they are given the same injunction because most apparitions will be visions they receive when their eyes are closed, not when they are open. When the séance is to invoke a deceased person’s spirit, the same rules apply, except that they are told to send the love vibration to the spirit sought and hold the person in loving remembrance.
3. They should be encouraged not to accept any message or information that has silliness or frivolity associated with it. They should firmly reject it and continue waiting for something more substantial.
4. Allow 20 to 30 minutes for everyone to stay in this loving remembrance state and then softly request them to return their attention to the circle and open their eyes when ready.
5. After a few minutes they should all be alert and ready to talk. Start anywhere in the circle and encourage everyone to share their experience. What you are looking for are profound information that has evidence of a connection within it. Look for duplicate messages, visions or feelings which are confirmations of a connection with the spirit.
6. A recording can be made of the message part of the séance for future reference.

Don’t expect a voice to emanate from the corner of the room or from within an object. That only happens in the movies. Remember that those in spirit must try just as hard as we do in order to communicate. They are not specialists, just who they were when they were here in their physical bodies. These séances sometimes require repeat sessions to get sufficient details to piece together a coherent picture. Patience is required.

For conjuring an apparition, you have look for the number of similarities in the information of the sitters. Many times there will be a number of people who get the same message or vision or feeling during the session. These are confirmations of a single spirit’s influence during the séance.

How to become a Medium

Focus
A medium has a different focus than that of a psychic. While the psychic focuses on the events and relationships of person for which a reading is being given, the medium focuses not only on the person, but on the spirit energies surrounding that person also. The medium needs to be a psychic and a medium at the same time. An analogy would be that the psychic would be on channel 4 and the medium on channel 6. The action is the same, it’s just a different program that they are tuning into.

Practice
The student should practice psychic development at the same time as learning to become a medium and can follow the instructions given on the pages for Psychic power. Particular attention should be given to learning and practicing meditation on a regular basis. This is the key to getting into the frame of mind where the other senses are temporarily put to rest allowing the sixth sense to be in a heightened state of awareness. It is from this heightened state that information, symbols and knowledge comes through from the other side of the veil. The "veil" is a common term used to describe the thin barrier that exists between the spirit world and ours. Tuning or focusing into the right channel becomes easier with one’s ability to meditate and the rest is practice.

Sincerity
Another critical factor is your desire to communicate with the realm of spirit for a serious and purposeful reason. If you want to speak to spirit because you have nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon or you just want to entertain your friends, forget it! You are guaranteed to get zero. However, if you are sincere and dedicated toward developing a connection and are patient to work it through, even though progress seems to be scant at times, then you will succeed.

Expand your awareness
The next thing you need to do is to develop your awareness about the spirit world and how it has already been in contact with you through your dreams, or while you were awake. You can learn a lot from near death returnees and from those reported cases where the deceased come to comfort the dying. Finding your spirit guides enables you to understand the sense of someone behind the scenes helping. And there is the séance, the place of learning and practice where you gain valuable experience. Follow these links and make yourself better prepared to develop your connection.

Focus on spirits
It is from the knowledge of how those that exist in the spiritual realm interact with you that will in itself give you a large boost in developing toward mediumship. Follow the format outlined in the section on Psychic Ability listed below. Once you have practiced and are proficient with that you can begin to focus on the spirit energy around people. Mediumship is developing your psychic sixth sense and then putting the focus on deceased spirits and getting lots of practice.

Psychic Development

Spiritual growth is the by-product of psychic development. As you expand you own awareness of the universe through the experiences you get from these practices, you become more balanced and discerning. You will see the world and people from a different perspective. You'll see things as a whole rather than from their individual parts. And you will have a greater empathy because you'll understand what is going on in many people, even if they don't see it themselves.
Every day of our lives we engage in the paranormal practice of communicating with a higher realm of consciousness and we are not even aware of it. Following is a list of things that everyone has experienced at least once. Look them over and remember similar such psychic events that happened to you. Once you have become aware of them, practice them and more will occur. Through a higher awareness you can make the paranormal become the normal for you.
Pay attention to what is going on around you in everyday occurrences and events. When you experience one of events listed below, write it in a book or a diary that you keep just for that purpose. Recording these events, no matter how trivial they may seem, will help you with your development. Try to discover other types not mentioned in this list. Pay particular attention to your own personal growth as you progress, looking for changes in the way you look at things, how you feel as compared to before. Be sure to track your personal growth as well as the psychic events. This will give you added confidence in your self and your growing talent.

Here are a few types of events you should be looking for.

1) Coincidences - Pay attention to coincidences that amaze you, including those that don't. All coincidences have a meaning, especially if they seem to further your psychic or spiritual path. Record all of them.

2) Hunches - See what happens with your hunches. Take the effort to see if they play out as they came to you.

3) Urges - Follow up on urges. If you followed the urge, what happened?

4) The little inner voice - Listen to it. Deep within it gives you an awareness and knowledge about yourself or someone else. About the present, past or future. We don't always hear it, because our conscious minds are preoccupied with ourselves. The subtlety of this voice sometimes makes us think that our mind is talking to itself. Record these occasions, because this practice will greatly enhance your ability to hear more of this voice.

5) Predictions- If you are going to see someone that you've never met, try to picture in your mind what this person looks like. When you speak to someone on the telephone, do the same thing. If you are going to a meeting or gathering, guess how many people will be there, what the interior or exterior looks like. See if you can imagine what just one person will look like and what they will be wearing. Practice advance awareness, by always trying to predict things in advance of seeing or experiencing them. This is a good method for getting immediate feedback.

Everyone has it.
Everyone is aware of their five basic senses, seeing, feeling, smelling, hearing and tasting. What everyone is not so well aware of is their sixth sense, that sense of otherworldliness, a connection to something more and greater than their physical senses are able to perceive.
This is the entrance to the world of the unseen encounter, the unheard communication, the unfelt touch of someone from the spiritual world trying to make a connection with someone in the physical body.

Nothing to fear.
The sixth sense is a part of everyone whether or not they like it. It is a normal part of the human psyche and not abnormal or reserved for special or gifted persons. Thanks to the media and to religion, it has been misrepresented and as a result, people associate the spirit world with fear and trepidation. A person has more to fear going to their car in the parking lot after work than from those souls in the spirit world.

It is scientific.
Every human being is equipped from birth with what they need to communicate with the spirit world from where they came, and to where they will eventually go when they give up their physical body. This is the same scientific phenomenon that works in the transmission of electronic information such as the television or radio. These require that you tune into a particular band or frequency to get the program that you want. The sixth sense is similar in that it requires tuning in to another person’s frequency or to the frequency of someone in the spirit world. Electronic tuning is done through electronic means that is mechanical in nature. Spiritual tuning is done through the brain with mental focus, intent and desire being the means.

Mental tuning.
Although, tuning by mental focus is inconsistent and capricious, while electronic tuning is reliable, consistent and tangible, it is no less scientific. The difference being that psychic and medium communication is in its infancy as far as future development goes. It has a scientific basis for its manifestation because all things that happen work according to scientific laws, even by laws that haven’t been discovered yet. Consider technology that we take for granted, anyone that would have predicted one hundred years ago where we would be today, would have been laughed to scorn. So it is with mediums and communication with the so-called dead, it is a science in its infancy.

You’ve already had contact.
One doesn’t have to be a practiced medium or an ordained saint to make contact with the souls from the spirit world. At one time or another, everyone that is alive today has seen them, heard from them, been touched by them, smelled them, either while in the waking state or through a dream. Those that can’t recall having the experience are not aware of the signs or, because of fear and ignorance programmed through religion, are in denial. This is the first step in development of your sixth sense, recognizing the times that you have been touched by those in the spirit world.

To become a reader, you must learn to switch your mindset from yourself and onto another person as the center point. Your focus is centered on the inner workings of that person as it relates to the world they live in. For this you need to go within to engage that part of yourself that communicates with the universal mind where all knowledge resides.

The first requirement.

Just like learning any other skill you need to practice. Nothing comes to anyone without practice and reading another person is no different. Remember, you already have the ability, you only need to tune it and refine it.

Mind set is important. The more serious you are about it, the faster you will develop your ability to give readings. If you are dedicated to learn, you will. Just remember, Rome was not built in a day, so be patient. Becoming a psychic reader requires patience and practice.

Learn to meditate

Meditation puts you on the fast track to developing your own potential. It helps you get in that deep inner part of yourself where you get help from outside - from the universal mind. If you don't meditate, you can still learn, but it takes a bit longer. Profound and meaningful information is more readily available for a person that meditates. If you intend to go on to becoming a medium, then learning meditation is a must.

Where the information comes from

As each person goes through life, the events of that life are recorded. Every thought, words spoken, actions taken and not, are recorded with the universal mind. Some psychic readers refer to this as the akashic records, but its easier to visualize it as a video recording. This is information that you as a psychic reader can access.

How to get the information

The information comes through 5 sources:
1) Feelings - feelings that something is so, feelings of what a person is feeling inside, feelings about what a person fears, what is going on in their life, feelings about what is going on in regard to their personal relationships, etc.
2) Pictures - Visual pictures will come to the psychic read, some are directly interpreted and others are indirectly related. That is some pictures are symbols for another meaning. For example: in giving a reading, a woman client is visualized fishing off a bridge. Does it mean that the client is really going to go fishing or is she looking for a man? The answer lies in developing a 'feel' of how to interpret these symbols. And in this case, it turned out that the client was looking for a man.
3) Hearing - The psychic reader hears words in the form of mind talk. As though the psychic reader was talking to herself. Sometimes it seems like words are being imagined.
4) Knowing - One of the most profound ways that a psychic reader gets information is through 'knowing'. Suddenly, information appears. And as if by magic, the reader knows something that she didn't know a moment earlier.
5) Smelling and tasting - The psychic reader gets a sense (feels) of smelling or tasting.

How the psychic reader interprets it.

Sometimes you will only get a single word or picture about a person which doesn't provide a clear meaning. You must then go back and ask that symbol to give you more information. More information usually comes through one of the other sources. For example, the picture of the woman fishing on the bridge didn't give an explanation beyond the image itself. When the reader went back for more information, a feeling came to her that the woman was really actively looking for a man to be in her life. The psychic reader goes back to the source as many times as necessary to get a coherent message for her client.

How does a beginner get practice?

1) By meeting new people. - First it is necessary to practice giving readings and also to get feedback. Without feedback a person doesn't know if what they gave to another person made sense or was relevant. Feedback gives a beginner and practicing psychic information on how to interpret the symbols they get.
2) Next, the beginner needs to never fear being wrong. The best psychics and mediums in the world 'screw up' on a regular basis. No body does 100%.
3) Find a psychic 'development circle' to sit in every week. There you'll be in with your peers who are learning with you and you'll gain a lot of experience while learning. A circle enables you to meet other people and it also provides a safe energy platform for you to develop your ability.

Sacred geometry is geometry that is sacred to the observer or discoverer. This meaning is sometimes described as being the language of the God of the religion of the people who discovered or used it. Sacred geometry can be described as attributing a religious or cultural value to the graphical representation of the mathematical relationships and the design of the man-made objects that symbolize or represent these mathematical relationships. The golden ratio was often used in the design of Greek and Roman architecture. A contemporary usage of the term describes a supposed re-discovered mathematical order to the intrinsic nature of the Universe that is represented in crop circles and in ancient architecture such as the Great Pyramid and Stonehenge.The golden ratio, also known as the god ratio, golden proportion, golden mean, golden section, golden number, divine proportion or sectio divina, is an irrational number, approximately 1.618 033 988 749 894 848, that possesses many interesting properties. Shapes proportioned according to the golden ratio have long been considered aesthetically pleasing in Western cultures, and the golden ratio is still used frequently in art and design, suggesting a natural balance between symmetry and asymmetry. The ancient Pythagoreans, who defined numbers as expressions of ratios (and not as units as is common today), believed that reality is numerical and that the golden ratio expressed an underlying truth about existence.

The universe is created by thought consciousness which manifests in physical reality through a geometric blueprint that we call Sacred Geometry. It repeats in cycles giving the illusion of linear time so we can experience emotions. The term "sacred geometry" is used by archaeologists, anthropologists, and geometricians to encompass the religious, philosophical, and spiritual beliefs that have sprung up around geometry in various cultures during the course of human history. It is a catch-all term covering Pythagorean geometry and neo-Platonic geometry, as well as the perceived relationships between organic and logarithmic curves.

What is Clairvoyance?

Clairvoyance is the art of 'seeing' with senses beyond the five we normally use. Clairvoyance is often called the 'sixth sense'. It is related to the images that are always present in your mind that bring messages from other realms. These images can be shape, colors, still, animated, remain on a few seconds or last a longer time. You may 'see' them with your eyes open or closed.

In clairvoyance we 'see' with what is commonly called the 'third eye'. In the human body there is a gland called the pineal gland. It is located in the back area of the brain almost in the center of the head. This gland has degenerated from its original size comparable to a ping pong ball to its present size comparable to a pea, because we forgot how to use it a long time ago when our breathing patterns changed.

The pineal gland looks like an eye, and in some respects, it is literally an eyeball. It is round and has an opening on one portion. In that opening is a lens for focusing light. It looks upward. It is hollow and it has color receptors.

Just as the eyes on our face can look up to 90 degrees away from the direction they are set, the pineal gland can also 'look' as much as 90 degrees away from its set direction (up). And just as we cannot look out the back of our heads, the pineal gland cannot look down.

Inside the pineal gland - even in its shrunken size - are all the geometries and understandings of exactly how reality was created. It's all there, in every person. Most of us lost our memories during the fall and are just now starting to re-member and access these geometries and understandings.

Without our memories we started to breathe differently. Pranic energy used to flow right through the center of the pineal gland. Instead of taking in prana through the pineal gland and circulating it up and down our central tube, we started breathing it in through the nose and mouth. This caused the prana to bypass the pineal gland, which resulted in our seeing things in a totally different way, through a different interpretation of the reality called polarity consciousness.

The result of this polarity consciousness has us thinking that we're inside a body looking out, somehow separated from what's out there.Mankind is evolving to a frequency where clairvoyance will be part of daily life. For many people this gift comes naturally - especially children. Some people find is easy to tune their frequencies in to the other side to 'see'. Other people develop the skill with practice. Some people can never master it.

Some people become clairvoyant after a unique experience such as a Near Death Experience, ET Abduction, high fever, serious accident, blow to the head area, or opening of the kundalini energies. Some people use chemical stimulants or hallucinogens to heighten their awareness.

Clairvoyance connects to the right side of the brain - the feminine, creative, and intuitive aspects. That is why you may tend to feel physical sensations in on the left side of your body when you work clairvoyantly.The energy enters in through the left side of your body so as to activate the right side of your brain.

Opening your clairvoyant gifts has to do with DNA activation of your encoded cellular memories, activations of your chakras, raising your frequency, balancing your energy bodies, your self esteem and the ability to trust in what you 'hear' and 'see', your emotional state (clearing issues that block / or influence the information you get), expanding your knowledge base in all areas of 3D. You can't read someone on a subject - or understand symbols on a specific subject if you have no knowledge of that subject. The brain will have no way of interpreting the language into something you can understand. You can explain what you see - but we like to give meaning to our imagery. Even with the archetypes we see in meditation, dreams, etc. - our brains need some sort of frame of reference if we are to understand.

f course with automatic writing and art we can look at what we 'get' after we are finished and wonder, "What does that represent?" Often we are clueless - yet at some point that which we receive will have meaning. A lot of messages received in automatic writing and art are reflections of confusion within us.

Once you have opened your clairvoyant gifts, it is like any other exercise - it gets easier and easier. Some people mediate daily not for these messages but just to keep their sheath bodies in balance. They receive few images - but like to relax and feel at peace.Every cell in our bodies is being affected by the raising frequencies of the planet. We are being activated whether we want to be or not. Hundreds of years ago - to possess the gift of clairvoyance - one was considered a witch - as unknown knowledge was 'feared' (the emotion which keeps us trapped on this planet). Anything connected to 'higher frequency' information was forbidden.

Humanity has returned to an age of enlightenment in which we are all activating or DNA codes to discover who we are and why we are here. Clairvoyance is part of our total experience - the spiraling evolution of consciousness through the alchemy of time.
